Instagram¶

What it unlocks¶

Instagram performance inside the same answer as your other channels. Ask which posts and reels actually moved reach, how engagement is trending, and how Instagram compares with TikTok or YouTube for the same period. No screenshots, no manual reach math.

Before you connect¶

An Instagram Business or Creator account. Meta does not expose the Instagram API to personal accounts.
That Instagram account linked to a Facebook Page you manage.

How to connect¶

Open your CorpusIQ dashboard and click Connectors.
Find Instagram and click Connect. Instagram authorizes through Meta, so the same Meta connection that covers your Facebook Page covers Instagram.
Sign in to Meta, select the Facebook Page and the Instagram account you want to connect, and approve the read-only permissions.
Return to the dashboard. The Instagram card shows Connected.

One Meta connection covers every Meta property you authorize on it. If you add a second Instagram account later, reconnect and select the additional account.

What CorpusIQ can see¶

Posts and reels: captions, publish dates, and per-post performance.
Reach and impressions across the selected period.
Engagement: likes, comments, saves, and shares per post.
Follower trends over time.

Read-only. CorpusIQ does not publish, delete, comment, follow, or send direct messages.

Questions you can ask¶

"Which Instagram reels got the most reach last month?"
"How is my Instagram engagement rate trending this quarter?"
"Did follower growth improve after the last campaign?"
"Compare Instagram reach with TikTok reach for the same posts."

Troubleshooting¶

No Instagram account in the picker: the Instagram account is not a Business or Creator account, or it is not linked to a Facebook Page you manage. Fix the link in Meta Business Suite, then reconnect.
Insights look low: Instagram insights reflect only the period Meta reports; very recent activity can lag by a few hours.
Wrong account connected: disconnect Instagram in the dashboard, then reconnect and select the correct account.
