QuickBooks for purchase orders and costs, Google Sheets and Airtable for quote and production logs, Gmail or Outlook for supplier threads, Google Drive or OneDrive for specs and certificates, and Slack for floor coordination. CorpusIQ ships 40+ live connectors; manufacturers typically wire 5 to 8. ERP and MRP systems are out of scope for the current connector set.

Does CorpusIQ replace our ERP or MRP system?

No. CorpusIQ does not replace an ERP or MRP. It reads from the email, files, spreadsheets, and accounting tools around it to answer cross-tool questions in plain language, complementing the production system rather than replacing it.

Can the assistant change a purchase order or contact a supplier?

Read-only retrieval tools cannot place, edit, send, or delete vendor records. The only tools that accept writes are CorpusIQ control-plane tools, which manage your own CorpusIQ configuration and never write to a connected system.

Can it help with quality and inspection records?

It can read quality logs and certificates you store in Sheets, Airtable, or Drive and answer questions across them. Treat the answers as a faster way to find records, not as a system of record for audits.

Does CorpusIQ store our production data?

Direct MCP does not retain raw customer files or full connector response payloads. Local AUDIT logs record raw query text and tool parameters plus bounded result summaries; the Azure Log Analytics workspace retains those logs for 30 days. Optional indexed search has a separate lifecycle. Authorized source context is sent to the selected AI client, whose plan and settings govern conversation handling.
