An MCP server for Perplexity is a service that implements the Model Context Protocol so Perplexity can read and reason over external business tools. Perplexity supports remote MCP server connections. Perplexity supports remote MCP server connections from the Perplexity interface. The operator authenticates to the CorpusIQ MCP server with tenant credentials and Perplexity sees the connected business tools as named tool surfaces it can call during a search or chat thread.
Perplexity is search-first. Connecting business tools through CorpusIQ extends Perplexity's search and citation pattern from the public web to the operator's own systems: invoices, contracts, customer threads, orders, ad spend. Same citation discipline, applied to the data the operator actually owns.
40+ governed tool surfaces across email, files, chat, finance, commerce, marketing, CRM, and databases. All connector tools are retrieval-only and do not write back to connected systems.
