What does an AI worker cost in 2026? Viktor's own worked example puts an AI worker at $493 to $1,711 a month: a credit plan at $50 a month, plus one to three hours a week of review at the $88.63 an hour rate that page cites, plus setup. Their pricing page now lists the paid Team plan at $100 a month, so the same example starts at $543 today. CorpusIQ takes the other path: flat, from $29.95 a month, inside the ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity subscription you already pay for.
The two bills, side by side
A CorpusIQ user keeps the AI subscription already paid for, so the new line is only the flat tier. Nothing in Viktor's column is relabeled: their numbers come from their published pricing page, checked October 2026.
| The two bills | CorpusIQ | Viktor (their published example) | | --- | --- | --- | | What you are paying for | A read-only layer inside the AI assistant you already use | An AI employee that logs into your tools and ships finished work, in its own workspace | | Price model | Flat tiers, everything included: $29.95 Solo, $109.95 Team, $189.95 Business | Usage credits, from $100 a month per workspace on their current pricing page. Every scheduled task run spends credits | | The AI subscription you already pay for | Kept and used: runs inside the ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity plan you already pay for | Not part of it. Viktor runs in its own workspace | | Surprise jumps | None. Flat price, no meters, no per-run charges | Metered. Their page cites the FinOps warning that token spend can spike, so budget a band, not a point | | Review time (their numbers) | Every answer arrives with the record behind each number, so checking is a lookup, not a rebuild | 1 to 3 hours a week, $384.06 to $1,152.19 a month at the $88.63 an hour rate their page cites | | Setup (their numbers) | Connect one tool and ask. 30-day trial, no credit card | 8 hours once, about $59.09 a month spread over 12 months | | Month, in their own example | From $29.95, plus the AI plan you already pay for | $493.15 to $1,711.28 |
Starter math, all in: one AI plan at about $20 a month (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, or Perplexity Pro) plus Solo at $29.95 is about $50 a month, everything included.
Their own math says checking decides the bill
Their pricing page states its own conclusion plainly:
The cost of an AI employee is decided by how much checking the output needs, not by the plan.
Viktor, AI worker pricing page, checked October 2026
In that worked example, plan price moved the monthly total by about $450. Review hours moved it by about $768. The line that decides the bill is the one spent verifying the output, so that is the line CorpusIQ attacks: every answer arrives with the record behind each number, which turns checking into a lookup instead of a rebuild.
The minutes before the answer
There is a second hidden line most pricing pages do not count: access time. The minutes lost pulling reports, exporting spreadsheets, and hunting for the number before any answer exists, across Gmail, Drive, Shopify, and QuickBooks. The question you cannot answer fast is the expensive one. CorpusIQ reads the tools you already connected, live, so the answer starts from your data instead of from a search for it.
The price that does not surprise
Viktor's pricing is metered: usage credits per workspace, and every scheduled task run spends credits. Their own page cites the FinOps warning that token spend can spike, and the advice that follows is to budget a band, not a point.
CorpusIQ is the opposite shape. Flat tiers from $29.95 a month, everything included, with no meters and no per-run charges. The same number comes back next month.
Where these numbers come from
- Viktor's figures: their published AI worker pricing page and pricing post, checked October 2026 (worked example total $493.15 to $1,711.28 built on a $50 plan; their pricing page now lists Team at $100 a month with 40,000 credits, so the same example starts at $543.15; review band of one to three hours a week; setup of eight hours, about $59.09 a month spread over twelve months).
- Wage rates: the BLS table Viktor's page cites ($88.63 an hour, June 2026).
- CorpusIQ pricing: the pricing page.
- AI plan prices (about $20): each vendor's published plan pricing, checked October 2026.

FAQ
Do I need to cancel ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity to use CorpusIQ?
No. CorpusIQ runs inside the plan you already pay for. You connect your tools once, then keep asking where you already ask.
What does the flat price include?
Everything: 40+ connectors, 150+ skills, and the source behind every number. Plans differ only in how many people use it. 30 days free, no card.
Why compare review time instead of just plan price?
Because the vendors' own math says checking decides the cost. In the example, review hours moved the total more than a tenfold plan-price change. Cited answers make checking faster.
Where do these numbers come from?
Viktor's published pricing page and worked example, checked October 2026. The wage rates are from the BLS figures that page cites ($88.63 an hour, June 2026). CorpusIQ pricing is from this site.
