Six orders have waited more than 5 days. Order 4471 was packed on the 29th and never left; the rest are waiting on supplier stock confirmed only by email.
Illustrative example. Not real order data.
Every order crosses four systems. None of them agree.
"Where is order 4471?" means messaging three people.
The status lives across the storefront, a spreadsheet and someone's inbox. No single view holds the whole chain.
Inventory looks fine in one system and wrong in another.
The storefront, the ops sheet and the ERP each show a different count. The stocktake is the only referee.
The process everyone follows is not the process documented.
The SOP describes how it used to work. The real sequence lives in habits, chat threads and one person's memory.
Supplier and fulfilment updates only exist in inboxes.
Confirmations, delays and revised dates arrive as email. No report can see them, and nobody has time to forward them.
The order-to-delivery chain is nowhere in one place.
Storefront, warehouse, carrier, inbox. Every handover drops the story until the customer tells you first.
The tools that run your operations, connected read-only.
Orders, stock, supplier spend and status updates live across these systems. CorpusIQ reads them through read-only access: nothing is written back, and nothing can be modified, sent or executed in a connected tool.
Real questions that used to take three people and a day.
- "Which orders are still unfulfilled after 5 days?"
- "What did we actually pay this supplier last quarter?"
- "Which purchase orders are open past their promised delivery date?"
- "Why does Shopify show 42 units of SKU-2201 when the warehouse sheet shows 37?"
- "Walk me through order 4471, from checkout to delivery."
- "Which suppliers slipped a delivery date more than once this quarter?"
From order status to supplier spend, without the chasing.
Read-only across the stack: CorpusIQ looks, cites, and leaves every system exactly as it found it.
Order status without interrupting anyone
Ask where order 4471 stands and get the storefront record, the warehouse sheet and the shipping thread in one cited answer. Nobody has to stop packing to reply.
Reconcile stock before the next stocktake
Line up the storefront count, the ops sheet and the ERP report for the same SKUs, and see exactly where the numbers disagree and by how much.
Know what a supplier really cost last quarter
Pull invoiced, paid and credited amounts per supplier from the books and the invoice emails, instead of rebuilding the number in a spreadsheet.
Document the process that actually happens
Reconstruct how orders really move from the records themselves, then compare it with the written SOP before the next handover.
Common questions
What operations leads ask before they connect a storefront, a database or an inbox.

Which tools can CorpusIQ read for an operations team?
Shopify, SHOPLINE, eBay, Odoo, QuickBooks, Stripe, Airtable, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Calendly, and SQL data through the PostgreSQL, SQL Server, ODBC and database connectors. 40+ connectors are live in total; operations setups typically wire the storefront, the books, the inbox and the database.
Can CorpusIQ change an order, a stock level or a supplier record?
No. Access is read-only: CorpusIQ reads authorized data through MCP and cannot write, modify, send or execute anything in your systems. Order statuses, stock counts and supplier records stay exactly where they are.
How do we ask about one specific order?
By name or number, in plain language: for example, "walk me through order 4471 from checkout to delivery". CorpusIQ finds that order across the connected tools and shows the source behind every part of the answer, so the storefront record, the sheet row and the email can be checked against each other.
Does connecting a database give the AI write access?
No. Connections use read-only access and respect whatever access the connected identity already has. A query cannot update a table, add a row or change a stock level.
What if half our process lives in a spreadsheet?
Google Sheets is a first-class connector. Ask across the sheet, the inbox and the storefront in the same question, and every answer shows its sources so the numbers can be traced back to the row they came from.
Does CorpusIQ store our order data?
Direct MCP does not retain raw customer files or full connector response payloads. Local AUDIT logs record raw query text and tool parameters plus bounded result summaries; the Azure Log Analytics workspace retains those logs for 30 days. Optional indexed search has a separate lifecycle. Authorized source context is sent to the selected AI client, whose plan and settings govern conversation handling.
Connect your operations stack and answer every order question in one chat.
