Billing questions are usually one of three: what am I getting during the trial, what happens the day it ends, and how do I stop paying if this turns out not to be for me. The answers are short, and knowing them before day one is what keeps a trial from becoming a surprise invoice.
What the trial includes
Everything. All connectors, all skills, the full assistant surface. There is no feature held back for a paid tier and no per-connector charge waiting at the end, so the trial is an honest test of the product rather than a demo of the product.
No credit card is required to start. That matters for two reasons: nobody gets charged because they forgot a date, and nobody is asked to trust a payment form before they have seen an answer they can verify.
What happens on day 30
Access is gated, not destroyed. Your account, your connections and the questions you have asked stay where they are. The assistant stops answering until a plan is chosen.
If you come back three weeks later and choose a plan, you resume where you stopped rather than rebuilding. The two exceptions worth knowing: a connector whose provider token expired while you were away needs reconnecting, and any saved view built on a source you have since disconnected will report the gap rather than a stale number.
There is no automatic charge and no silent downgrade. A trial that ends is a trial that ended.
Plans and seats
Three plans differ in how many people can use one account, not in what the product can do. Solo covers one person, Team covers five, Business covers ten. Additional seats on Business are 9.95 per person per month.
Same connectors, same skills, same assistant access on all three. If one person is doing the asking, buy the one person plan. The mistake to avoid is buying ten seats for one power user and nine spectators: a seat nobody signs into adds nothing, and connections are made by the people who need answers.
Change plan when the number of people changes, not when the questions get harder. Harder questions do not cost more.
How to cancel or change
Cancel from the billing settings on the account. It stops the next invoice, the plan runs to the end of the paid period, and your data stays until you decide otherwise. There is no exit interview and nobody calls to talk you out of it.
Downgrade works the same way but respects the seat count: if you have ten people on the account and move to a five seat plan, choose who stays before the change, otherwise the last people added lose access when the period turns.
Disconnecting a tool, deleting a user and cancelling a plan are three separate actions. Do the one you actually mean.
Questions worth asking before you buy
- →Which two questions will this answer every week that cost me time now? If you cannot name two, finish the trial before paying.
- →Who else needs to ask questions themselves rather than receive your summary? That number is your seat count.
- →Is there a system we cannot connect that holds a number we need? Find out during the trial, when the answer costs nothing.
- →Do we have a definition problem, meaning two people define revenue differently? That is a memory question, and solving it is worth more than any report.
Common questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The trial starts without a payment method. A card is only needed when you choose a plan at the end of the trial.
What happens to my data if I do not subscribe?
Your account and connections are kept so you can resume. The assistant stops answering until a plan is active. CorpusIQ does not hold copies of your business records in the first place: sources are read on demand, and operational logs are bounded and time limited.
Does every connector cost extra?
No. Connectors are included in the plan price. There is no separate tier for connectors and no per-connector charge, so the decision to connect a tool is about relevance, not budget.
Can I add people later?
Yes. Seats can be added on the plan that supports them, and Business plans add seats at the published per-seat rate. Move up when a second person actually starts asking questions.
How do I stop paying?
Cancel from billing settings. The plan runs to the end of the paid period, no further invoice is raised, and nothing is deleted as a side effect of cancelling.
