YouTube

What it unlocks

Bring your YouTube channel analytics into conversation alongside your other marketing data. Ask which videos drove traffic, where viewers are coming from, and what's working - without bouncing into YouTube Studio.

Before you connect

  • A YouTube channel (personal or Brand Account).
  • A Google account that owns or manages the channel.
  • About 2 minutes. If you already connected Google Workspace, YouTube may already be authorized under the same Google connection.

How to connect

  1. Open your CorpusIQ dashboard and click Connections.
  2. Find YouTube and click Connect.
  1. Sign into your Google account.
  2. Pick the channel you want to connect (important if you manage Brand Accounts).
  1. Click Allow on the consent screen.

You'll see YouTube change from gray to green in your CorpusIQ dashboard.

What CorpusIQ can see

  • Your channel: subscriber count, total views, video count.
  • Your uploaded videos and per-video analytics (views, watch time, likes).
  • Geographic breakdown of your viewers.
  • Transcripts and comments for any public video.
  • General YouTube search results.
  • Brand Account channels you own or manage.

Read-only. CorpusIQ never uploads, edits videos, replies to comments, or changes channel settings.

Questions you can ask

  • "What are my top YouTube videos this quarter?"
  • "Where are most of my YouTube viewers from geographically?"
  • "Show me the transcript of my latest upload."
  • "How many subscribers did I gain last month?"
  • "What are people saying in the comments of my newest video?"

Troubleshooting

  • "Channel not found" - Brand Accounts need an extra picker step. Disconnect and reconnect, then choose the correct channel.
  • Analytics empty - YouTube Analytics has a ~48-hour lag for fresh data.
  • Permission error on a Brand Account - your Google login must have at least Manager access on the Brand Account.
