Recipe: Search Your Entire Business From One Question

Time to value: 5 minutes setup. Connectors needed: Gmail or Outlook, Drive or OneDrive, Slack, Notion, any database. Skill level: Operator. No code.

The problem

You need one piece of information. It might be in an email. A Slack thread. A Google Doc. A Notion page. A database record.

You search Gmail. Nothing. You search Slack. Three partial matches. You open Drive and search. Eight documents, none of them the right one. You text a colleague who might remember. They do not. Twenty minutes gone.

The answer exists somewhere in your company. It will take longer to find it than to use it.

What you will ask your AI

After connecting your tools:

"What was the Q2 budget we discussed with the Stripe integration partner? Search my email, Slack, and Drive."

Your AI searches Gmail for the email thread, Slack for the channel discussion, Drive for any budget documents, and returns the answer with source citations. You click the citation to open the original email.

Setup

  1. Connect Gmail, Slack, and Google Drive through CorpusIQ

Example

Ask:

Your AI searches your Gmail for threads matching "Shopify integration vendor March pricing," cross-references Slack for any related discussions, and checks Drive for contract documents. It returns the answer with direct links to the source emails and documents.
