Why This Matters for Operators¶
French company due diligence normally means stitching together Sirene, INPI, BODACC, DECP and Judilibre by hand, each with its own access pattern. OpenBase joins them behind one endpoint and one query surface.
The differentiating tools are the three newer ones: reseau_capitalistique graphs holdings, subsidiaries and capital loops one to two levels deep for M&A due diligence, signaux_business returns every dynamic signal (hirings, public contracts, fundraisings, certifications, risks) in one call, and surveiller_entreprise sets an email alert on any event. An agent can screen a counterparty's corporate structure, court record and public contracts in one conversation - the work that previously justified a junior analyst.

The anonymous free tier works immediately with no key. Registering an email unlocks three agent-oriented tools (360 scoring, risk alerts, company comparison) and a soft cap of 100 calls per day. Pro reports are pay-per-use at 14.90 EUR and generated by Claude Opus 4.6.
Business Relevance¶
- Audit and M&A firms run agent-led due diligence on capital networks and serial-failers
- Banks and insurers automate KYB onboarding with screening signals, cutting onboarding time
- Sales operations enrich every CRM lead with solvency and company data instead of hand-rolled API parsing
- Lawyers build a counterparty's litigation map from Judilibre rulings in seconds
Integration with CorpusIQ¶
OpenBase reads the French company registry; CorpusIQ reads the operating business. For an operator doing French B2B, the pair is a complete diligence stack: OpenBase's fiche_entreprise and bilans_financiers establish identity and published accounts, while CorpusIQ's Stripe, QuickBooks and HubSpot connectors show what the target or counterparty actually transacts when you are inside the business. A sales team can even close the loop: OpenBase scores the prospect, HubSpot holds the pipeline, and the agent routes follow-ups by risk level.
Limitations¶
- Brand new listing with no track record yet
- France only; sources are official public data, not private credit data
- B2B data only by design - no personal emails exposed
- Premium reports are pay-per-use rather than subscription
